When you browse allacrossthe Internet you will comeacrossand stumble upon manyvaryingwebsites that will capture yourinterestand imagination. The style and layout of the millions of sites on the Internet is all down to website design. Many sites made by the same company normally use a base template that they use as the background and layout of the site, and then whoever uses the site decides what colours to have the differentcolumns, and background, although on some the background colour stays the same as the template. The base template for these sites is done very subtle and youwouldn'teven know it was a base template for lots of different sites unless you know what you are looking for, then it becomes quite easy to spot them all. Theinternet provider you are using now mostprobablyhas a home page, and that home page isprobablya basic website design template, with one or two new features all added onto it. If you have some time to spare then try this out: Go to a search engine and type in the names of a few well knownInternetproviders and check out their home pages. Chances are you will see many similarities in their website design. On some smaller websites they may use the same website design as some of the much bigger websites butunfortunatelythey could behidinga little nasty bit ofInternettechnology: a virus.Virus' are made by people who simply have too much time on their hands and nothing to do with that time, so they decided to make a small programme that, when downloaded unknowingly to the person who is downloading it, will get on their computer and mess around with a few important files on the computer, making it very slow, sometimes unresponsive and at worse, making some files not workcompletelywhich in turn will cause the computer not to workproperly. This all seems very scary but fear not as there is software known as anti-virus software that will stop these virus' from getting onto your computer. You can get the software two different ways and these are either downloading it off of the maker of the software's website, or buying it in your local computer shop. Dozens of good anti-virus programmesexistbut what ever one you get is down to your ownpreference, but itdoesn'treally matter what one you get as they all do the same job, keeping the pesky virus' out, and the do a really good job too.
