Thoughts on Technology

In my childhood computer were not around. I didn't get to use a computer until I was sixteen years old. I got a job as an assistant in an IT suite in a primary school. Not many of teachers knew much about the Internet. I had to sort out all the problems that the children with the computers. Pairs of children had to share the computers. It was so challenging when Year 6 were working on the computers. One very naughty eleven year old boy got a virus onto our computer system. I worked there for five years.

Then I worked from home when I had started up my dating site. It was called Happy Days dating on-line. It attracted single ladies and men. Each one was given the opportunity to create their profile and add photos of themselves. It proved to be a very popular site. It was listed near the top of a search engine called Google. I sold it for one million pounds to a man called Liam Muppet. He renamed it Successful Dating For the Over Eighteens.

With all that money I decided to go off travelling. I went on a Caribbean cruise. It began in Barbados and went to Tobago, Trinidad, Grenada, St Vincent and the Grenadines and St Lucia. I came home with a lovely suntan. I began to get bored and I thought with all that money I could afford to buy my own house.

I bought a four bed roomed detached house with an outdoor swimming pool. It has a view of the coastline. I wanted to start up my own business once again so I thought of becoming a website designer. I thought that working as a website designer would be an exciting and well paid job. I had been working as a website designer for one year when the Australian Tourist Commission phoned me. They gave me an offer to work for them for four years. So I let out my large home for one thousand pounds a month and I now work in Sydney, Australia. I love working as a website designer for them.

I married an Australian lady called Chloe. We will be in Sydney for two more years and then I will take her back to England with me. She will be delighted when she sees my house overlooking the beach. Perhaps once home we will try to have a baby. I have so very much to look forward to me in my life.
