'Are you two planning to be some kind of web designers or what? You two have been spending a lot of time looking at that pc,' dad asked as he walked into my room. Kevin and I were looking at a site that was giving us tips on creating simple scripts to improve blog web sites.

'No, dad. Kevin and I are just checking out some of the links to see if there is any way for us to identify hidden files. We are trying to download an audio file from a web site we bumped into earlier. The song was playing but we could not locate the link to download that song,' I explained.

'Is that legal? I thought downloading is illegal?' dad asked, curious.

'Not necessary, Mr. Hanks. Some audio files are free. Besides, we are not planning to sell it. We just want to keep one in this pc. You know - to have a copy just in case we want to listen to it again,' Kevin said.

'So, how long does it take you to download an audio file?' dad asked.

'Well, it depends on the broadband. And the pc. Like you know, if a certain guy's dad is willing to buy a better pc and pay more for a better broadband, his son will be able to download a song within 2 minutes,' I teased. Dad just shook his head. He knew I was just teasing. 'Well, often, it takes around 5 to 10 minutes for me to download a song. If I want to download a movie, it takes longer. A complete movie, I think, should take up around 7 to 8 hours. Interested to download any song, dad? Or maybe any movie?'

'7 to 8 hours? You guys have the patience for that?'

'Well, it is not like we have to do anything. We just click and save. The movie will be downloaded. If the broadband is faster, perhaps we are talking about... maybe around 5 hours. We can leave the pc on, go out for a game and then come back later to check on it. We don't have to stick around for the downloads to be completed,' Kevin said.

'Hm. That easy, huh? If I can think of any movie, I'll let you boys know, okay? I'm going out now. You boys want anything?'
