The world wide web has helped in making and creating jobs especially for individuals who lost their jobs because of the world wide financial recession crisis. Individuals who lost their jobs because of the recession did not slack off in finding other ways to find a job or another source of income.

I have an online friend named Pat. He is a programmer and does webdesign for a private Canadian company. Unfortunately he was one of the unlucky ones who lost their jobs because of the recession. After losing his job as a programmer, the company he used to work at closed in a months time. He has a family to support so he really needs to find another job.

On the other hand, his wife Lauren is a stay home mother but is involved in freelance writing activities on the internet with the use of the family's PC. Lauren kept and saved all her online earnings in the bank. Every single penny was saved. I did not know how much the exact amount is but with that amount, their family would survive in three months even if Pat stayed unemployed.

Pat saw an opportunity on the world wide web. If his wife Lauren was able to generate and earn that much through the internet, so does he, considering he is a programmer and has more experience on the internet and the world wide web than his wife Lauren. He started using their pc at home much more than Lauren. Pat started creating a draft for a social site and went into blogging. Lauren bought a new PC for herself because Pat was using the family's PC every single hour of the day.

In a month's time, Pat was still unable to find a new job. Actually, he is not looking for another job anymore. He now runs his own social site and is earning six times more compared to what he gets as a programmer in the company he used to work at. His blog also became a hit and he was able to generate income from the advertisements displayed in his blog. Currently, the couple with their children are having the vacation of their lives in the Caribbean.
